Hi, I’m Alex đź‘‹. I’m on a mission to build a smarter, more enjoyable home. What started as me learning Home Assistant to fix a small issue in my house quickly opened my eyes to how much you can do with smart-home tech. I went from someone who didn’t really see the point of a “smart home” to someone who now looks at whether something can integrate with Home Assistant before I even buy it.
What began as a small curiosity has turned into a full-on hobby. Thanks to Home Assistant and the huge community behind it, it’s easier than ever to bring different devices together in one place. But like any hobby, there’s a learning curve. I created this website to share what I’ve learned, document my wins (and mistakes), and help others build the smart home they’ve been imagining.
